We are fully aware of the fact that many so-called “non-profit” organizations do nothing more than steal the money of those who generously donate to them. We do not want to be one of such organizations. We promise to do our best in handling every dollar which is to be donated to us from you. Therefore it is our goal to be as transparent as possible, and to provide detailed reports on where we spend our money.
Since this site has been launched just recently (February 2009), and we have not collected any funds, we don’t have a financial report we can share with you. However, we do promise to provide such reports in the future.
In order to collect donations in the United States, Drusjki Ministries was registered in the State of Washington. Although the organization is registered as a “Non-Profit Corporation”, we are still considered a regular corporation by the IRS. In order to be exempt from taxes, and be give a “Non-Profit” status by the IRS, we must go through a lengthy process, which may take up to a year. We are currently applying for such status.
Also, please note that the music sale profits go directly to the band members, and not the Drusjki Ministries organization. The donations, however, do NOT go to the members of the band personally, but are spent ONLY on ministry-related causes.
